Wind Crest Farm Network & Surveillance
The owners of Wind Crest Farm selected Cloudapt as their trusted partners to design and build a robust network and surveillance system covering the house, driveway entrances, and three barns.
As the property is well out in the country with only sub-par DSL service available, Cloudapt installed a Starlink low-earth orbit satellite system to provide acceptable Internet service.
Connectivity between the switch locations is done via a mix of underground fiber optic cable and wireless backhaul.
Nick Loyd runs the vibratory plow to bury HDPE conduit for the fiber optic cable pathways.
Levi Lowe pays out HDPE conduit to be buried by the vibratory plow.
The network consists of a firewall, five switches (house, three barns, and the main gate of the property), and nine Wi-Fi Access Points.
The surveillance system includes a NVR and 15 cameras capable of AI facial recognition, license plate detection, and a whole host of audio and video detections.
The Wind Crest job was completed ahead of schedule and on budget.
